RUBEN VANHOUTTE

CEO & FOUNDER

 Ruben Vanhoutte (born 1995) is a Belgian drummer, musician, musical director, and producer. He is known as the drummer for Tamino, and is also involved in various other projects, including being the manager for Jaguar Jaguar and Sam De Nef. Alongside these roles, he is active across a wide range of national and international projects spanning recording, touring, and production.

Ruben began his musical journey at The Art Factory, the music school founded by his parents, and later completed his studies at KASK & Conservatorium / School of Arts Ghent, earning a Master of Arts in 2020.

In 2021, he founded Press Forward to support artists and labels in bringing their music into the physical world — from vinyl and CDs to cassettes — combining artistic instinct with hands-on production knowledge.

ALESSIO DE LOOSE

SALES & MARKETING

Sales and marketing are led by Alessio De Looze (born 1994), dark pop artist and long time collaborator within the independent music scene in Belgium and the Netherlands. He understands what artists care about - not just pricing and timelines, but how a release feels and how it’s experienced by listeners.

After writing music for other artists for several years, Alessio decided to pursue his own project. Within the first year and a half of releasing his debut album, he performed on stages such as Het Depot and OLT Rivierenhof, as well as at numerous shows across Belgian cities. This first-hand experience of releasing, promoting, and performing music continues to shape his artist-first approach.

Alessio studied Marketing in Antwerp and Internatinoal Business Management in Leuven and Worcester (UK), but his heart has always been firmly rooted in music. At Press Forward, he guides artists and labels through the entire production process -  from first idea to final delivery - with clarity, honesty, and close communication.
